As in previous years, Bodega Garzón will participate in Descorchados Brazil, held in San Pablo on April 9th and in Río de Janeiro on April 11th. This event has turned into an exhibition of the most important wines of South America, in which around 100 wineries present their products to an estimated audience of 3.000 people.
Descorchados Guide carries out an annual evaluation of the best wines of the continent, which are then invited to present to the public their outstanding varieties in a series of events throughout the world.
This year, the wines from Bodega Garzón obtained the following scores:
Best Red Wine of Uruguay and Best Red Blend: Garzón Balasto 2016 – 96 points.
Best in other Red Varieties: Garzón Petit Verdot Single Vineyard 2017 – 94 points.
Best Cabernet Franc: Garzón Petit Clos – 94 points.
Best Merlot: Garzón Merlot Single Vineyard 2016 – 93 points.
Revelation / Best Sauvignon Blanc: Garzón Sauvignon Blanc Estate 2018 – 92 points.
Best Rosé: Garzón Pinot Noir Rosé 2018 – 92 points.
Revelation: Garzón Brut Rosé – 92 points.
