Bodega Garzón reinforced its international positioning with a distinguished presence at two of the most important events for the wine industry in the United States: Descorchados New York and Sip of South America New York. Both gatherings bring together key industry leaders, specialized media, sommeliers, and influential consumers from the North American market.
At both events, the winery presented a selection of labels that reflect the diversity and potential of Uruguayan wines, with a special focus on Balasto 2022, one of the winery’s flagship wines and the ultimate expression of its terroir-driven philosophy. The portfolio was complemented by Albariño Single Vineyard and Tannat Reserva, two wines that embody Uruguay’s Atlantic identity and its signature grape variety.
Participation in Sip of South America, organized by Wine Enthusiast in New York, introduced Bodega Garzón’s wines to an audience of industry professionals and consumers interested in discovering the latest trends in South American winemaking. The event highlighted the growing relevance of the region’s wines in the U.S. market and brought together more than 50 wineries from across the continent. Christian Wylie, CEO of Bodega Garzón, attended the event.
Meanwhile, Descorchados New York once again established itself as one of the premier showcases for South America’s finest wines, gathering producers, importers, specialized media, and opinion leaders from the wine world. Bodega Garzón’s presence at this event further underscores the recognition the winery has achieved in international markets and its commitment to promoting Uruguayan wines abroad. Magdalena Sosa, Bodega Garzón’s Wine Educator, represented the winery at the event.
Through these participations, Bodega Garzón continues to strengthen its presence in the United States, one of the brand’s strategic markets, bringing to the world wines that express the uniqueness of Uruguay’s soils, Atlantic climate, and winemaking identity.
