Last Saturday, March 16th, Bodega Garzón once again celebrated the Harvest Festival, the most important event of the year, which has become a classic event every season in Garzón, and which gathers more than 400 people from different nationalities who come to Uruguay just to enjoy this special day.
It is a great honor to have participated once again in WineParis & Vinexpo Paris 2025, one of the most relevant events where wineries, industry leaders, and experts come together to learn about the latest trends in the global wine industry.
We received the Descorchados 2024 Guide awards from renowned Chilean wine critic Patricio Tapia, considered a benchmark in the South American wine industry, which every year awards prizes to the finest wines in the region.
For the second time, a wine from Bodega Garzón is included in this prestigious international ranking, being once again the only Uruguayan winery to have a wine among the world’s best 100.
Attended by Alberto Antonini, consulting winemaker of Bodega Garzón and one of the world’s leading winemakers, the avant premiere of Balasto 2020 was held in Uruguay for the specialized press at the Sofitel Hotel in Carrasco. This time, a new vintage of this wine was presented, which marked a milestone by being the only Uruguayan wine launched in 2017 in the exclusive Place de Bordeaux, a place reserved for the best labels in the world.

We are incredibly proud to be the only Uruguayan winery to be included in the Top 15 of the World’s Best Vineyards 2024 ranking for the 6th consecutive year. This annual list highlights the 100 best wine tourism destinations worldwide. Additionally, Bodega Garzón is one of just three South American wineries featured in this prestigious Top 15.
From October 17 to 19, we were invited to participate once again in the New York Wine Experience, one of the most important events in the industry that brings together the best wineries from around the globe to showcase their most outstanding wines.
