Last Saturday, March 16th, Bodega Garzón once again celebrated the Harvest Festival, the most important event of the year, which has become a classic event every season in Garzón, and which gathers more than 400 people from different nationalities who come to Uruguay just to enjoy this special day.
On Wednesday, July 24, we hosted a special event at Hotel Alquimista in Montevideo with specialized media, clients, and friends.
We received the Descorchados 2024 Guide awards from renowned Chilean wine critic Patricio Tapia, considered a benchmark in the South American wine industry, which every year awards prizes to the finest wines in the region.
For the second time, a wine from Bodega Garzón is included in this prestigious international ranking, being once again the only Uruguayan winery to have a wine among the world’s best 100.
Attended by Alberto Antonini, consulting winemaker of Bodega Garzón and one of the world’s leading winemakers, the avant premiere of Balasto 2020 was held in Uruguay for the specialized press at the Sofitel Hotel in Carrasco. This time, a new vintage of this wine was presented, which marked a milestone by being the only Uruguayan wine launched in 2017 in the exclusive Place de Bordeaux, a place reserved for the best labels in the world.
On June 5th, we attended one of the most outstanding wine industry events of the year: Great Wines of the World New York.
During May, we participated in a new edition of Wine Spectator Grand Tour in three major cities in the United States: New Orleans, Las Vegas and Denver together with our importer Winebow.
Year after year our wines receive renowned scores from James Suckling, one of the most important wine critics in the wine industry.
