Bodega Garzón celebrated the Harvest Festival, the year’s most important event that has become a classic of every summer in Garzón.
Last Saturday, March 4, Bodega Garzón once again celebrated a new harvest in its vineyard where more than 350 people attended.
This great event began with a reception of the guests at the winery, who were able to tour the winery and learn firsthand the process of making these fine wines with Germán Bruzzone, winemaker, responsible for the winery and vineyard. A process that is carried out with the highest quality standards and with innovation applied to the care and efficiency of energy resources.
Bodega Garzón is the first winery in the world to obtain LEED certification for its 100% sustainable design for all its facilities and functionalities.
Afterwards, the guests arrived at the winery where a large table was waiting for them to enjoy a lunch with different fire stations and a menu specially prepared by Francis Mallmann, culinary director of Bodega Garzón’s restaurant, and his team. The lunch featured a wide variety of red meats, white meats and seasonal vegetables and was accompanied by a special selection of wines: Magnum Tannat Single Vineyard 2016, Magnum Cabernet Franc Petit Clos 2016, Magnum Albariño Single Vineyard 2022, Magnum Pinot Noir Rosé 2022 and Sauvignon Blanc Reserva 2022.
In addition, guests were treated to a special edition Imperial format (6 lts.) of Balasto 2018, one of the Grands Vins du Monde, served at the end of the lunch.
The party continued until sunset, with live music, dj, the intervention in a barrel by an artist and the harvest experience where all guests were able to pick grapes by hand in this unique and privileged natural environment that is Garzón.
The event was attended by Mr. Alejandro P. Bulgheroni and his family, owners of Bodega Garzón and Alberto Antonini, consultant winemaker of the project and one of the most renowned winemakers in the world.
