On October 10th, we made the presentation and official launch of Balasto 2016 at Bodega Garzón, surrounded by clients and friends.
On Wednesday October, 10th we held a special event to celebrate the launch of Balasto 2016 in Uruguay. The event was attended by clients and friends of Bodega Garzón, and it began with a tour through the vineyard, with our Agricultural Engineer, Eduardo Félix. He mentioned some of the most important characteristics of the terroir and of balasto soil, from which the name of Garzón’s iconic wine is derived.
The guests were later invited to join our Marketing Manager, Nicolás Bonino, and learn about the main milestones achieved with Balasto 2015, and they also enjoyed a tasting of the different varieties that compose Balasto, together with the project’s winemaker, Germán Bruzzone.
The event concluded with a tasting lunch at the restaurant of the winery, paired with different lines of wines from Garzón.
At the end, our General Manager, Christian Wylie, thanked the guests for coming, and invited them to sign a special edition bottle of Balasto, as a memento.
