After being chosen New World Winery of 2018 by prestigious Wine Enthusiast Magazine, and obtaining in 2019 the LEED Certification as recognition for being the first fully sustainable winery, Bodega Garzón once again marked a milestone, participating in the renowned examination Masters of Wine, a contest for the world’s finest wines.
This time, our Tannat Single Vineyard 2017 had the honor of participating in an exam that requires the highest standards of knowledge in art, science and wine business. An exclusive acknowledgement that opens the doors to a private club with great influence and prestige.
Today, there are 382 Masters of Wine working in 29 different countries. The membership includes enologists, buyers, journalists, business owners, consultants, scholars and wine educators.
The members of Masters of Wine possess the highest qualification in the world of wines, having demonstrated great knowledge and understanding of all the different aspects of wine in the Masters of Wine exam, internationally known for its rigor.
