Pairing
This wine goes perfectly with mature cheeses such as Roquefort, Comté or cured Gouda. Grilled shrimps, scallops and other delicate seafood pair nicely with the acidity of the wine and the richness of the sea. Asian food makes a superb match for this wine. Delicate sushi or a spicy Thai curry are ideal partners. Smoked hams and cured meats contrast their salty/smoky flavours with the texture of this wine and its fruity notes. Mushroom risottos and roasted vegetables, accompany this wine with a strong presence. And lastly, when it comes to desserts, pear and walnut tarts with syrup are magically complemented by the distinctive acidity of this wine.
Our recommendation
Field Blend Rosé
With its delicate pale pink colour, this wine authentically embodies the expression of the grape varieties that compose it. Grenache, Cinsaut and Mouvedre were harvested and vinified at the same time, resulting in a fresh and fruity wine with notes of cherries and flowers. This wine has a rich natural acidity and a mineral finish that evokes its terroir of origin.
