James Suckling once again recognizes the excellence of Bodega Garzón’s white, rosé, and sparkling wines
James Suckling, one of the world’s most influential wine critics, has once again highlighted Bodega Garzón in his annual tasting, awarding more than 90 points to 10 of its labels.
Among the top-rated wines is Petit Clos Albariño 2024, with a tasting note that emphasizes its deep mineral nose, accompanied by lime, freshly cut herbs, and a touch of nectarine. On the palate, it is very dry, concentrated, and bright, with medium body and a lime-driven, slightly saline finish. Its vibrant acidity and minerality create a crisp, crystal-clear sensation.
Also standing out is the Albariño Single Vineyard 2024, which received 92 points for its expressive nose of lime, chalk, flint, and sliced green apple. Bright and subtly saline on the palate, it shows transparent, crunchy stone fruits that define the mid-palate, finishing fresh and mineral.
The other eight wines recognized by Suckling were:
-
Extra Brut – 91 points
-
Field Blend Orange 2024 – 91 points
-
Albariño Reserva 2024 – 91 points
-
Field Blend Rosé 2024 – 90 points
-
Pinot Noir Rosé Reserva 2024 – 90 points
-
Brut Nature Rosé – 90 points
-
Sauvignon Blanc Reserva 2024 – 90 points
-
Pinot Rosé de Corte Estate – 90 points
In the coming weeks, Bodega Garzón will also receive the 2025 scores for its red wines.
