Last Tuesday, August 2nd, Bodega Garz\u00f3n introduced its new image for this year with a dinner at the restaurant located in the towers of Fendi Ch\u00e2teau, a project of exclusive apartments recently inaugurated at Parada 17 of Playa Mansa, Punta del Este.<\/p>\n
The dinner was attended by Alberto Antonini, winemaker and consultant of Bodega Garz\u00f3n, Christian Wylie, Managing Director and Germ\u00e1n Bruzzone, enologist, who shared with the guests the main news of Garz\u00f3n.<\/p>\n
Among the participants we had the attendance of specialized press, customers and friends, who were able to learn first-hand about this change while enjoying a dinner paired with Garz\u00f3n wines, and the presence of Antonini, a world reference for the entire wine industry.<\/p>\n
Among the novelties, the characteristics of the new labels and image of the Single Vineyard, Reserva and Estate wine lines were presented, as well as the wines of the new 2022 vintage of white and ros\u00e9 wines and the 2020 vintage of red wines for aging.<\/p>\n
Regarding the changes introduced in the labels, in the Estate line we enhanced its image with a classic and elegant style. We incorporated a color code on the labels that reflects the characteristic youthfulness of these premium wines. A complete premiumization of this line that also incorporates images of the Garz\u00f3n terroir and a new label format with cut-out edges.<\/p>\n
In the Reserva line, we made subtle improvements in the label design. We incorporated the golden color that highlights the Garz\u00f3n brand and enhances the image of these wines, faithful expressions of each variety. These changes bring prestige to this line of Garz\u00f3n wines, the most sold worldwide.<\/p>\n
In the Single Vineyard line, we incorporated black labels for the red wines that provide a more premium and modern image, while our white wines maintain their classic white label that highlights the elegance and freshness of these grape varieties. We added the gold color to enhance the Garz\u00f3n brand, the line, the terroir parcels and the winery, honoring this exclusive family of high-end wines.<\/p>\n
At Garz\u00f3n we continue to innovate in order to reflect the identity of wines that express the very best of our land.<\/p>\n
During the event, Germ\u00e1n Bruzzone was also introduced as the new Manager of Wineries and Vineyards, in recognition of his work since the beginning of the Garz\u00f3n project.<\/p>\n
Finally, a bottle of Single Vineyard Tannat 2020 signed by the renowned Alberto Antonini was given as a gift to the guests as a souvenir of the special day. This Tannat was recently awarded by the prestigious International Wine Challenge with 95 points, Gold medal and Trophy medal, the only wine from Uruguay with this distinction.<\/p>\n
