We are very proud to announce that Germ\u00e1n Bruzzone, winemaker of Bodega Garz\u00f3n, was chosen as Winemaker of the Year by Patricio Tapia in his renowned Gu\u00eda Descorchados 2022. A well-deserved award given to one of the most important winemakers in the country who, together with Alberto Antonini, Italian winemaker and consultant winemaker at Garz\u00f3n, carries out the production of the different lines of wines that are faithful exponents of Garz\u00f3n’s Terroir.<\/p>\n
Germ\u00e1n, born into a family dedicated to winemaking, began working on the Garz\u00f3n project from the beginning, more precisely in 2009 after being selected among several candidates.<\/p>\n
This award is a milestone for Bodega Garz\u00f3n, and a reward for the work that Bruzzone and his team carry out throughout the year to produce wines that are awarded in the five continents and recognized by the most prominent critics of the wine-making sector.<\/p>\n
This year had already started with great scores by Tapia’s guide for Garz\u00f3n wines, among which stand out the 97 points and mention as Best Red Wine of Uruguay for Balasto, and 96 points and mention as Best Tannat of Uruguay for Petit Clos Tannat.<\/p>\n
