For the second year running, we were chosen Winery of the Year by Gu\u00eda Descorchados<\/em> 2021, led by Chilean wine critic Patricio Tapia.<\/p>\n

In a very special year, in which Covid-19 pandemic almost stopped the world, at Bodega Garz\u00f3n we continued working in pursuit of expanding markets and taking Uruguayan wines to the world.<\/p>\n

Once again, we had the honor of receiving such a great news for the entire team, an acknowledgement that follows many others obtained in 2020, such as #2 World Best Vineyards to Visit, World\u2019s Best Winery Restaurant by Decanter, and being included in the Top 100 Wineries by Wine Enthusiast.<\/p>\n

In addition to being chosen best winery, Garz\u00f3n also obtained outstanding scores and special mentions for Balasto, with 97 points as best Uruguayan wine and best red wine, Petit Clos Albari\u00f1o best white wine and Uruguay\u2019s best Albari\u00f1o, Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc as best Sauvignon Blanc and Reserva Pinot Noir Ros\u00e9 best new wine.<\/p>\n

Every year, Gu\u00eda Descorchados awards the most important wines and wineries of America, which are then invited to participate in three important events in Sao Paulo, Miami and New York.<\/p>\n
