{"id":20395,"date":"2018-11-06T16:08:32","date_gmt":"2018-11-06T15:08:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bodegagarzon.com\/?p=20395"},"modified":"2018-11-06T16:08:32","modified_gmt":"2018-11-06T15:08:32","slug":"presentation-of-balasto-2016-in-uruguay","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"\/en\/news\/topics\/presentation-of-balasto-2016-in-uruguay\/","title":{"rendered":"Presentation of Balasto 2016 in Uruguay"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>On October 10<\/b><b>th<\/b><b>, we made the presentation and official launch of Balasto 2016 at Bodega Garz\u00f3n, surrounded by clients and friends.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On Wednesday October, 10<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> we held a special event to celebrate the launch of Balasto 2016 in Uruguay. The event was attended by clients and friends of Bodega Garz\u00f3n, and it began with a tour through the vineyard, with our Agricultural Engineer, Eduardo F\u00e9lix. He mentioned some of the most important characteristics of the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">terroir<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">balasto<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> soil, from which the name of Garz\u00f3n\u2019s iconic wine is derived.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The guests were later invited to join our Marketing Manager, Nicol\u00e1s Bonino, and learn about the main milestones achieved with Balasto 2015, and they also enjoyed a tasting of the different varieties that compose Balasto, together with the project\u2019s winemaker, Germ\u00e1n Bruzzone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The event concluded with a tasting lunch at the restaurant of the winery, paired with different lines of wines from Garz\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At the end, our General Manager, Christian Wylie, thanked the guests for coming, and invited them to sign a special edition bottle of Balasto, as a memento.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On October 10th, we made the presentation and official launch of Balasto 2016 at Bodega Garz\u00f3n, surrounded by clients and friends.
