Bulgheroni<\/strong>, and located in the idyllic countryside of Garz\u00f3n, Uruguay, announced today that the winery will be participating in the 19th annual <strong>VinExpo<\/strong> beginning Sunday, June 18 in Bordeaux, France. During VinExpo, Bodega Garz\u00f3n\u2019s founder Alejandro Bulgheroni and winemaker Alberto Antonini will debut their new icon wine to attendees so they can be among the first to sample the new wine in the portfolio. The wine will be presented by Antonini. Additionally, <a href=\"https:\/\/bodegagarzon.com\/en\/news\/press-releases\/bodega-garzon-officially-announces-francis-mallmann-as-ambassador-and-culinary-director\/\"><strong>Bodega Garz\u00f3n\u2019s culinary ambassador, chef<\/strong> <strong>Francis Mallmann<\/strong><\/a>, will host a dinner to showcase the winery\u2019s premier portfolio of wines alongside traditional open-fire Uruguayan cuisine. VinExpo is an international trade show for wines and spirits taking place in Bordeaux, France on June 20th at Chateaux De Lantic.<\/p>\n<p>The 205,000-square-foot winery \u2013 the first in the world seeking LEED certification for its entire facility \u2013 showcases estate-grown, limited-production premium wines crafted by influential winemaker and viticulturist Alberto Antonini and offers visitors an experience that highlights the best in South American hospitality. The winery\u2019s completion last year represents a major milestone in Mr. Bulgheroni\u2019s quest to elevate <strong>Bodega Garz\u00f3n<\/strong> to world-class status and establish the winery as one of the leading South American producers of premium wines.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bodega Garz\u00f3n<\/strong> is located near the southeastern coast of Uruguay, about 110 miles from the country\u2019s capital, Montevideo, and only 11 miles from the Atlantic Ocean, in a region that is emerging as a leader in the production of Uruguay\u2019s signature varietal, Tannat. Ideally located for travelers who want to explore Uruguay, Bodega Garz\u00f3n is just 45 minutes away from the beach resort town of Punta del Este, also known as the Riviera of Uruguay because of its beautiful beaches, upscale resorts, restaurants and nightclubs.
